Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

I want my money back. period. If they didn't advertise as "price would go up" then sure I won't say a word when the price falls. But they utterly lied to us.

Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

If you bought before the price drop, you could've gotten FSD for a total of $5000 instead of $7000. That makes sense?

Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

No one told you in the process in public format that your house price would go up, right? So you were not misled.

Curious, isn't it $5000 total for people who didn't buy EAP to get everything now? $3k for AP + $2k for FSD.

Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

The main unfairness isn't even coming from just the price drop, but also from how they advertised it by saying "price will go up if you don't buy now" when the fact is price dropped. And they never advertise saying vehicle price will go up/stay if you don't buy now. Therefore the case is...

Curious to know, what if option 1 and 2 are both rejected by Tesla. I requested 1 and am getting a rejection.

Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

Your deals example and this news are very different cases. There is no PUBLICLY MISLEADING information being advertised. Tesla telling you "hey, you better buy it now because the price will go up otherwise." Then they drop the price --- this is different than Tesla tell you on the phone "hey...

Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

Thanks for clarifying. So that means, owners who bought it in 2018 with EAP is being screwed for $2k just over the FSD. Owners of the long-range model who purchased EAP and FSD is screwed for $2250. ($6000 price diff - $3750 tax credit diff) I think my math is correct this time.

It's fair for dealers to sell at different prices. But when Tesla advertised to people saying "price will go up" when they actual dropped the price, that's "misleading", which might have false advertisement implications. If you were not part of the group that overpaid, you wouldn't feel screwed.

Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

And to consider the line in emails and during purchase flow where it says purchasing EAP and FSD later, price would go up, I suspect the "false advertisement" law might apply. I ain't a lawyer. But it seems to apply from what I understand. Quoting below from something I found about the false...

Reduced price Autopilot & FSD for existing owners announced March 1st

I wrote an email to Tesla to request some sort of remedy. Imo, despite my love for the car and EAP, it's quite BS when Tesla screw over early adopters who supported the company with real money and now discount it for new owners. Here's the math in how much early owners are screwed. 2018: Long...
