Washington State Good To Go Pass - best installation location?

Is this a requirement for sure? I haven't read everything in detail. But, I don't know if the police officers really need to use that to determine whether which mode you are in. When you drive underneath the toll check point and you are in HOV mode then there is a white light that blinks on top...

    Ding Repair

I heartily recommend Ryan Snider Paintless Dent Repair. He fixed a dent in my MS and also a big door banger in my Bimmer which I didn't think could even be fixed since it was so close to the edge of the door. He fixed them both for $225, and also took care of another small ding without charging...

Washington State Good To Go Pass - best installation location?

Just confirmed today as I crossed 520. The pass was read correctly when mounted behind the nose cone. Here is a pic of where I put the pass if anyone else wants to try it (which is behind the nose cone and a little higher than where the metal bumper will be located when nose cone is installed...

Washington State Good To Go Pass - best installation location?

I just had it put behind the nose cone a few days ago. I have yet to drive across the bridge. It's hard to find a spot without too much metal around it or behind it. The inside metal bumper may interfere with the antenna on the GTG pass....we'll see. I just mounted it with some masking tape so I...

7th Matt Ammon Memorial Driving School at Bremerton Motors Park on Sat/Sun 5/18-19

Thanks, Brianman, I'm definitely taking the ferry all the way... 6 am ferry that is! \-). They recommended that first-timers be there for a chalk talk at 8am. Gates open at 7 am. Maybe if all works out I can make a pit stop and top off the battery in Bremerton before heading over to the track. Rob

7th Matt Ammon Memorial Driving School at Bremerton Motors Park on Sat/Sun 5/18-19

I signed up for "One-day price of $100 for Saturday-only Driver Education and DE Autocross." Thanks for posting the info, Francis. Anyone remember how late in the afternoon the Quattro Day event lasted?

    Leather care / sealant

Sheepskin is very comfortable, however I sit too tall on it so I had to take it out (I keep seat at lowest setting). Anyways... looks (and feels better without due to shape of seat). Thanks for the tips on cleaners... I have a couple of black marks already I like to remove.

    Leather care / sealant

I saw a couple of posts about the issue of dye transfer from jeans to leather (particularly white or tan leather). Has anyone found a decent product that is suitable for the kind of leather that is used in the MS? I wear jeans frequently and I haven't noticed any issues yet, but I have only had...

Spring 2013 Get Together in the Bellevue-Seattle-Redmond-Issaquah-Kirkland Area

I filled out the survey (nice job of creating it, Francis. Great questions). Would make for some great conversation and should be very educating. I imagine there is a steady flow of cars being shipped up from Fremont as of lately. I'm astonished at how many I've seen on the road the last couple...

"University of Quattro" Driver Education at the Evergreen Speedway on Saturday, 2/2

Looks like a needed sw feature for the energy consumption display is auto-scaling :). Did any of you hear if this is an annual event or will they have it more frequently? Also curious, would a 60kWh battery have made it through the day? Maybe at least charge up nearby before heading out on...

How to finance with PenFed quickly without going insane

Thanks for all the useful tips about PenFed everyone! (RE: servers down on 31st, they might have been bogged down due to people trying to complete their loans before the end of the month, maybe?) Fortunately the 1.49% rate is still current for February it seems. I asked PenFed about when the...

Is there a minimum requirement in order to set the avatar? I don't see any selection, only "No avatar specified" then [x] Do no use avatar. there is only one radio button and no other selection. Sorry for posting in an old thread.

Anyone in the Bellevue/Issaquah/Redmond area need a Model S Fix While Waiting?

Very tempting.... :) Now that I have gotten the 240V outlet installed this week as well, I am definitely feeling a lot closer to the day (which most likely will be in March). Anyone run into any other Model S owners in the Seattle area? Any informal meetups on the Eastside? The SolarCity...

    Get Amped Tour: Seattle, 7/6 - 7/8

Five cars in Seattle I was at the Bellevue store today and they said they will have 5 cars in Seattle next weekend. Also note that the Mercer Street exit off I-5 will be closed next weekend which could delay people heading over to their appointments. I'm P7191 and still waiting for my...
