Got my "SR" model 3 today, man its awesome. Its the base model with no AP, so the fabled 35k Model 3 at last! Need to take advantage of all the SR+ features before the software lock it lol.

My delivery specialist got back to me and said I was assigned a VIN, and that my Tesla is in Phoenix and to go ahead and pay, I don't see it on my account still but I paid. Hopefully I will get a car lol.

My SR order also flipped to make a final payment screen this morning. I still don't see a VIN or that "we are preparing a purchase agreement" text that used to be on that screen. I sent an email to the delivery specialist to see whats up, I think she said in Texas you have to pay for the car...

Well my delivery specialist got back to me, she says that she still doesn't see a VIN so she can't do anything yet. I don't get why they put in "Deliveries of Model 3 Standard will begin this weekend." In An Update to Our Vehicle Lineup if no one at Tesla that we can talk to can confirm that.

Yeah I just emailed my delivery specialist hopefully I can get my car soon, it seems like waiting and holding onto the SR reservation is going to pay off big time.

So for those of us who ordered the SR (I ordered on 02/28), basically we are getting a free upgrade to a SR+ but with a software limited battery? Right?

I just hope we get our cars by June for the tax credit. Its still pretty stupid that they told us 2-4 weeks on 02/28, Tesla needs to learn how to plan better. Hell, my reservation still says 2-4 weeks from order placed which is complete bull lol.

Same here base SR ordered on 02/28, Dallas TX delivery, says scheduled for 03/28.
