Model 3 Tires, Tire Sizes, Types, make / model recommendations, tire discussions, etc

Just spoke to someone at the Tesla Service center and he said the 98 load rating requirement at some of the chain tire places was nonsense...He went into some explanation that I didn't really understand in regards to weight and speed...But the short of it is the 94 load rating I bought is more...

    What happened to 'summon'

It's supposed to be on the car and it was sold to me with the feature highlighted. You don't get to choose features to remove at your whim. I'm calling these clowns tomorrow.

    What happened to 'summon'

Actually, this basic summon feature of Is clearly marked as on any car with auto pilot in the apps description. We bought our M3 in April With AP and this was a feature they sold us on and demoed on our own car. And then they take it away? Is that what's happening? Lawsuit anyone? They...

Touch up paint for the 18" wheels?

Rubbed a curb and scraped off some paint from my 18" stock wheels...Aero cap is fine, but the silver that's exposed from the scrape bothers me. Any recommendations for touch up paint to make it less obvious? Gloss black? Thanks in advance

    Not missing this

Costs me less than 5 bucks to go from 0 to 100% on my 240v in the garage...at 325 miles for the LR RWD, that would be about 50 bucks to fill up our ICE car at 3.75 a gallon. Literally 10x more expensive. I would imagine, as we see demand for gasoline drop prices will drop...

Cost of FSD to start increasing after May 1st

Competitions aren't reliable enough? Compared to what? Tesla's promises? Auto Pilot is cool and works pretty well but would I call it "reliable"...never. don't drink too much kool-aid, let's be real. I would put the chance of Tesla having truly self driving, city and highway, cars by the...

    LR RWD Waiting Room

Unless you're worried about losing the money after the price increase or a tax rebate I would reject the 2018...unless they want to give you a break on price...which they probably won't.

    LR RWD Waiting Room

We had to actually cancel our old order where the VIN got messed up and create a new one. Was assured the refund would come within 10 days.

    LR RWD Waiting Room

Just more of an argument that they are still floundering at a time when they really should be hitting their stride. Regardless, in 5 years the difference in resale between the 2018 and 2019 will be apparent...Like any other car on the planet. Seems Telsa tries to reinvent the wheel in a...

    LR RWD Waiting Room

We ordered a midrange the day before the plug was pulled and they tried to sell us a 2018 that we rejected. Ended up going with the 2019 LR with AP. I figure the resell on the 2018 vs 2019 about makes up the 3k difference to step up to the LR. Was actually amazed that a car company would try...
