Manual Heat Not Blowing Hot above 8

Thanks - I'll try that next time. Just bugs me this process is so complicated compared to an old ICE car. You slide the control up for fan, and you can select both windshield and foot area for heating at any fan speed - (or what 'zone' you need conditioned in any combination) What a concept...

The good, the bad, and the ugly of V11

Agree that interface is dangerous. I liked the car and interface when I bought it in 2018 - one reason why I liked it was the large map, and condensed car graphic area - with all the pertinent controls visible and within reach. Now it's a battle to find things, and yes - usually when rolling...

Manual Heat Not Blowing Hot above 8

Also slightly unrelated.... cold and frosty here, I turn on defrost (with phone), go out unlock M3 to grab scraper, and start scraping. Car locks after 30 sec or so... and when doing so turns off heating system. While I'm still carving off the windshield glaciers. Perhaps I'm not doing this...

Model 3 LR range - anyone check it out?

Ok worse case perhaps? Freezing temperatures, at high elevation (Denver) - driving East to Goodland KS. Google says it's 215 miles. We drove (AWD, extended battery charged to 90%), 19" wheels, at 85 mph mostly - made it there with 5% to spare. We were a tad anxious.

    Advice on a long drive..

We just returned from a trip from Colorado, to Florida and back. We were gone 9 days, only 4 days of driving. Used a better route planner for planning, then targeted specific superchargers. It was easy, safe, and the car drove most of it herself. Recommended as a good way to conquer range...
