@chojn1 : Do you have a link to the LED module you used? I tried some LED strip, but the light seems too harsh.

@HPYC : I have a trunk lift kit that I have not installed yet, and the struts are 1.25 inches in diameter, and 13 inches CTC (center to center) of the mounting holes. Unfortunately, there are no visible markings for any model numbers on either strut

Perhaps others who have recently installed a correctly working Frunk Kit can also post the ID numbers of their struts along with the build date of their Model 3. That would help @HPYC and everyone else.
