I took a test drive of the Model 3.

I'm having the same issue as well. Can't activate homelink via the app with the exact same error message. I'm thinking that this may be a bug. Did you get this working somehow?

Purchased on Aug 14th and still waiting for mine as well (not shipped). They did send an email on Sept 11 saying that they ran into QC issues and shipping would be delayed.

i have the exact same phone on the same iOS version. Looks like it’s a bug - glad I’m not the only person with the issue.

Thanks, that would be great! Car is plugged in and parked inside my garage. Haven't driven it since I got the update earlier this evening.. Maybe I need to drive it or something.

Have you been able to test Homelink through the app? When trying to do activate homelink through the app with my Tesla parked in my garage I get an error that says "There are no HomeLink-enabled garage doors near your vehicle"

Can anyone who took delivery of the latest batch confirm that it comes with the spoiler and performance badge installed?

I'm seeing VIN in page source. Delivery gave me a call as well, car has been assigned to me and I can take delivery as early as Monday 08/05

Just spoke with my owner advisor and he told me it was possible. He said to place an order when my VIN comes in and send him a screenshot of my receipt.

Any Model 3 owners that got their vehicles after Homelink was removed able to get it installed at/just before taking delivery of their vehicle?

Ordered P3D+ on 7/27. White w/ black interior. Orange County, CA with pickup in Costa Mesa.

If it's anything like it was with the 3, test drives won't happen until after reservation holders have their Teslas first.

I was thinking the same thing. I love the Model X and its features (the falcon wing doors are so sexy) but it is way too large for my needs (married, no kids, one dog). I honestly think the Model Y is the perfect size as we are planning to have kids in the next 2-3 years. Plus the hatch makes...

Maybe you should talk to Tesla about this? I ordered after the pricing changes so it doesn't affect me but it would be good to know what happens if prices were to go up AGAIN.

This is exactly why I want the Y as well.. having a hatch is so much more convenient than a traditional trunk.

The X was just too large for my needs which is why I went with the Y. I would have gone with the 3 if it had a power liftgate/was a hatch back.

I'm on the order list as well :) I was thinking about the M3P but loved the fact that the Y had a hatchback. I also looked at the X and the S and, while wihin my price range, I thought they were both too large for my needs.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is done when you do final configurations for your vehicle before taking delivery.
