2017 Tesla P100D Lease Takeover $1845.75 per month, I eat the deposit.

I'm 8 months into the 3 year lease, 8,600 miles on the vehicle, and I can't have it anymore. 15k miles per year lease.

Car is in perfect condition. No scratches, no smoking, no eating or drinking in the vehicle, no dings on the wheels.

I paid $36,327.83 on June 5, 2017 at signing and the lease is $1845.75 per month. Tesla will take the car back now with a payment from me for $15k, so I’m really hoping I can just find someone to take over the lease!

Nice car, maybe im misunderstanding how leases work but if you paid 36k upfront and 1850 a month for 36 months the residual is roughly 55k? Doesn't sound right to me unless im not seeing it through properly

Residual is about 90k at end of lease term. I don’t know exactly how it works either but I am sure of the amount I paid upon signing and the monthly payment. Thanks!

That sounds about right. $36k+66k=102k for deposit lease payments +residual of $90k. List price was $165k +tax &fees so roughly 182k plus financing charges. Damn expensive.

Worst case - Turo the thing for $250 a day/$1500 a week. You’ll get 1 renter a month for a week I bet.
