The TPMS were put on the new aftermarket 20" wheels and tires I had installed at 73 miles. I believe the tire shop only had to separate the tire bead on the outside of the uberturbine rims to remove the sensors and not completely demount the tire. I had them install regular tire valves just to show there are no leaks. I thought this made sense as a buyer may have a set of TPMS from the wheels being replaced and wouldn't have to pay extra for wheels with sensors. If these will be an extra set, you obviously will need to buy a set of TPMS from Tesla. Thanks for asking.
