I’m going through the exact same thing with my boy (only 2.5 yes old). He loves/is scared of my Model X so we made a game of it. Pretending the car is a rocket ship and I got him a toy version of the car to play with during the day. Maybe that could help? No reason to get rid of such an amazing vehicle.
