Since DIY ceramic coating kits are getting more popular we receiving more brand new cars to fix the paint. There is absolutely nothing wrong to do ceramic coating home, but some risk assessment needed before proceeding.

Gosh that looks horrible. It’s not hard to apply a sealant or coating if you take your time and follow directions. Did the person not wipe the product off one panel or 2x2 section at a time?

I didn't ask as it is not a pleasant situation overall. The good point is that this time we were able to fix it all.
