Door fails to unlock

Brand new model Y LR, just a week old. thrice now, I’ve not been able to open the door by pressing the usual unlock button. I can hear the door unlock, in fact the door moves slightly but somehow stays latched. Pressing the button again attempts a lock but fails to lock because the door isn’t fully closed either. Only way to get out is to use the emergency lever. After a trip the door resets and the problem doesn’t repeat. Has happened thrice in the past week. Has anyone else faced this?

@francton this sounds like you need service. Tesla mobile service or a service center might be able to adjust your door.

Also try holding the open-door button down while pushing the door open. This works for my M3 rear doors.
