Latest software update

I have a 2020 M3 that when I go to software it displays 2020.36.10. All fine and well, but none of the new features are not available when I go to settings. Am I missing something?

Which ones specifically? Green light chime needs FSD.

The OP is confused. OP doesn't have FSD but expects FSD options to appear.

Many of the upgrades ARE for FSD, but not all on every update.

Automatic wiper modifications in past upgrades are an example.

Pretty much every patch upgrade modifies the neural net used for autopilot and safety features. Those are hard to notice unless you know about an edge case. As the driving data builds at Tesla from the fleet, the neural net gets a little better. This is also why you want to apply the patch when you can. The car gets safer.

Also there are games and Easter eggs that can show up for everyone.

I think of the upgrades as four features sets, FSD upgrades, neural net upgrades( modifications to all the features included in the controls), mapping updates and entertainment features.

The neural net upgrades get the least amount of discussion and usually are not written up in the release notes.
