Model 3 SR - No Longer an Option

Did Tesla discontinue the Model 3 Standard Range option? The current options listed on the website are the SR+ and LR AWD. Did I miss an announcement?

yes back in April, where have you been? you have to call to order it.

If you want the plain SR you have to order it in person or on the phone. Not available on the website. The + is worth the extra $4-5k whatever it is and won’t add that much to your monthly payment.

Hasn't the standard (SR) car always been special order and never on the website?

Telsa really does not want to sell you this version as it is the same car with software limitations ; cost to Telsa is identical to the SR+
Was not their original plan but they way it worked out.
Good value to the consumer, very little profit to Tesla for this model. I do think the AP is quite valuable so would recommend the SR+
