Model S and X Steering wheel carbon fiber trim piece

This goes over the "airbag" trim at the bottom center of the steering wheel. I decided to go a different route. The matte carbon fiber is really nice as it matches the decor. Unused as i did not peel off the 3M adhesive tape. $22.50 shipped.

Flipped pattern? The pattern currently matches the dash, why would you want the pattern going in the other direction?

Also, anyone thinking about doing the graphite upgrade? Or does anyone think the chrome\graphite trim will just disappear on the steering wheel when the graphite change happens?

Is it possible to upgrade the trim? I didn't think the trim was sold separate.

wayy too much work to swap the aluminum trim for the new graphite.

Not without removing EVERYTHING - dash, door panels, steering wheel. The alum trim isn't something that just comes right off and snaps back into place.
