Prepping Surface for Touch-Up Paint on Scratched Bumper (Using Dr. ColorChip)

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some advice on prepping the surface before applying touch-up paint to a scratched bumper. The paint appears to be scratched, but it's still adhering to the surface and difficult to remove. I'll be using Dr. ColorChip for the touch-up work.

I've recently got a scratch on the brand new Y :-( .. I started looking around with not a lot of clear instructions online. To do it properly, you will need to sand the chips, paint multiple coats, sand flush, then apply clear coat/ceramic coat. I found this video to be helpful. Have you looked at Color N Drive paints? Are they inferior?

Disclaimer: I'm not a painter, or have I ever used the method. I will use this once the products I bought arrive.
