Removing rear side reflector

Could anyone provide instruction on how to remove the passenger rear side reflector (The triangle shape below). Currently this piece is not flush with the body, rather it is about 2 -3 mm recess in with some play in it. I would like to take it out and see if I could put some washers in to make it flush with the body.

Pull the trunk liner back on the upper side behind the reflector and see if the mounting bolts are visible. It is a separate part as seen here:
