Silver not free in Canada?

I thought the Silver color was now free for Y and 3. However, I order (in Canada) this Sunday (11/14/2021) and there was a CAD$1,300 charge for it. Am I missing something here?

Pearl white is free, every other colour there is a charge for. No change.

Tesla just made a change for US orders where there are now two free colors, white and dark silver metallic. See the screen capture below of the US order page. In Canada only the white color is free as is shown on the Tesla Canada website.

Oops, sorry! After living with my Canadian spouse for 29 years I really should learn how to spell properly (and by the way, I pronounce it pro-per-ly as it should be pronounced, not pra-per-ly, eh?)

MSM was added in the US with the last price increase. That price increase hasn’t applied in Canada. I guess M3 is seating on max price and any more price increase in Canada will result in M3 not eligible for federal rebate.

I asked my TA, he said it was only US and if it came to Canada (before my delivery), I should get in touch with him. Not sure he will be able to do anything, but in the unlikely event that “promotion” comes north, it is worth trying.

After the latest price increase here in Canada, they have now thrown the dark metallic silver colour in for "free" for us as well. If they keep increasing the price, then maybe we will eventually get all of them for no extra charge.
