Tesla Insurance Cost for an Additional Driver and a Car

Hi,

I am planning to switch my insurance to Tesla but I am not finding the right pricing comparison with my current insurance. I have Model S and a Bolt, Me and my Wife are two drivers, on the Tesla Insurance site there is no way to add additional Car and a Driver to get an accurate quote.

Does any of you add an additional Car and a Driver? if so, how much was an increase than the initial quote?

I had the same problem. I called them and they said that you have to purchase it then call in and add the second driver. No way to quote it. Guy on the phone said the max he saw a policy go up was $50 a month when adding a second driver. I purchased because it was $75 a month cheaper than my previous insurance so not matter what it would be cheaper but have not called to add my second driver yet.

I agree everyone's situation is different but what I wanted to know is how much on an average will be for an additional driver (with no Ticket and no accident history with more than 20 years of driving history)

I just had a call with tesla and they quoted me double of my current premium to add a driver (No Tickets, No accidents).

Is the other driver your 16 years old kid? That's the only way I could see doubling your premium.
