Question between 2022 MSLR and 2024

Thank you. Appreciate those details. Yes the brand new Model 3 is incredibly smooth. Clear difference from a 2020.

Question between 2022 MSLR and 2024

I currently have a 2020 Model S Long Range Plus, has a magnetic motor in rear so it might be the Raven. Anyways, today I drove the brand new Model 3 (the one with the with new headlights / tail lights) and holy cow it is such a better drive than my current Model S.. Less power for sure, but...

Be careful with Vossens. I have the the HF3 and they bend EASILY. You hit a few potholes and suddenly your smooth ride is a permanent bumpy one. If I were you I would buy 100% forged wheels. “Hybrid forged” doesn’t mean much.

Model S Aftermarket Wheel Fitment/Offset Discussion

The second I lowered my Tesla, all of the cameras needed recalibration. And I have adaptation suspension.

Model S Aftermarket Wheel Fitment/Offset Discussion

Yes, it is true. The Tesla software already accommodates for the different levels of air suspension. The second my Tesla was lowered, the cameras needed to be configured over again.

    Show of hands… Adaptive Suspension

You notice the difference when the Model S is lowered. Mine is on lowering brackets and comfort mode feels like it slowly surge up and down for a quarter mile after a bump, where as sport mode it’s a harsher bump feel and then it’s over quickly. Much stiffer.

Prediction: Model X price will be reduced to $78K in January 2024

But inflation has flattened out lately and the last decision by the fed was to halt the rise of interest rates. I see interest rates being stagnant through 4th quarter and then starting to drop in Q1 and Q2. Once interest rates start cooling off, loans and big purchases start rising, which means...

New to TMC and would love feedback on ordering a Model S Plaid

    1) I don’t think HUD is a Big deal being without. 2) I have 21 inch wheels right now - they’re hybrid forged (not fully forged) and I’ve bent the hell out of all of them this last winter in potholes. So it’s the last time I ever go with 21’s and it’s the last time I ever buy non-forged wheels...

Tesla drops prices on X/S $20k. All colors free. Bye bye resale

In what way? Tesla has dropped prices on all of their models. Main reason is to keep volume of sales up while interest rates are high and the fed is trying to cool off big purchases and financing. There is absolutely nothing indicating that the S or X are phasing out anytime soon.

Tesla drops prices on X/S $20k. All colors free. Bye bye resale

Won’t happen. The S is the “trophy” performance model to exhibit the company’s technological capabilities. Like the NSX with Honda / Acura. The GT-R with Nissan. The Supra with Toyota.

Prediction: Model X price will be reduced to $78K in January 2024

But I doubt the official 2024 models will have absolutely no change at all.

Prediction: Model X price will be reduced to $78K in January 2024

But Tesla couldn’t care less about customer’s used resale value.
