Haven’t used the L2s for a while coz they were almost always full. Had to stop by Target and found available L2s so plugged my car in. To my surprise the L2 now costs 39c/kWh, 2c cheaper than SC but this is news to me. When did they start charging for L2 here?

Ya, the L2 chargers are usually full, I think a decent number of Tesla owners in SF don't have home charging and they rely on free L2 charging there. I used to plug in there after dropping my kid off at school, and went for a run in the park, but now they're almost never available around that...

I just received them, they're just König, not even rebranded Tesla. I considered AutoSock, they're about half the price, but I read that at Yosemite if they really go R-3, they ask people to install them almost 10 miles ahead to ease congestion, and the socks won't last 10 miles driving on...

I’ve used both L2 and L3 chargers here a couple of times now, pretty sure L2 is free. At least I don’t see any records of L2 usage in my Tesla account. The L3 charges show up and deducted from my free supercharging miles.

Pretty sure the only way to get to the ramp to the chargers is from O'Farrell, I don't think the other parking lots connect to it, and O'Farrell is one-way. There's a Bright Horizons preschool on that top level, not much else.

I don't see anything in /teslaaccount/charging yet, but it took like 5 minutes to login lol.

This is a great spot, T-Mobile 5G is also very quick here: 310M/43M. And running to a loop at Panhandle and back is almost exactly 5K.

Plugged into L2 now. Charging at 8kW.

Anyone knows if L2 charging is really free?

nice, I'll have to check it out, my SoC is at 80% so probably will have to wait til next week. It must've been super windy up there today.
