    Model Y Performance on drag strip + 0-60 + Model 3 comparison

Do the stock 19" Geminis fit the MYP even with the larger brakes? That was one of the issues I had with my M3P and I had to get third party 18" wheels for it.

Radar getting turned off on Model 3/Y with 2022.20.9

Tesla says that, but having used both systems (and being in FSD beta for both), would say the radar based system was far more reliable. Less phantom braking, and when following cars, the radar based system was much more responsive to cars slowing down and delivering a gradual deceleration. The...

Why do people hate Black exterior so much?

Not really hate, and admittedly a clean black car can look great. But you'll rarely have a clean black car, and if you're in the south or California, a black car will feel like an oven. That was the main reason that put me off; it's just impractical. Just touch the surface of a black vs white...

High Pitched Whine Sound Coming From Rear Cabin 2022

Going to agree with @YNoVA . I had two 2022 MYP's 4 months apart, and the noise difference is clear as day especially when you've an identical car before. Old one didn't have it, new one did. The manufacturing is just that inconsistent.

    Battery Use in Camp Mode

On our most recent trip with the exterior being around 50-60F at night, we were pulling around 1%/hour setting the temp to 70F. In most cases I would estimate about 1%/hr using the AC as well. I personally didn't like using an air mattress in the back since it's quite thick and takes up a lot...

I got rear ended. Is it totaled?

I would say around that much too. I had a low speed fender bender that cost over 11k, and this is a little more extensive than that.

    Why I cancelled my order

To be fair, out of the three I've had, my first one in 2019 had pretty much 0 problems, the second one had some minor issues, and the third one had the most (2 misaligned panels, axle needed lube, a couple other issues). The service center was very helpful, but my issues definitely weren't bad...

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

That you'd have to check with the State. Ie: Texas taxes based on the price difference when you trade in, but California taxes on the full price of the vehicle.

    CA Waiting Room

Not sure either, maybe a combination of someone cancelling + I live next to the factory + FSD + MYP + white interior? I do know they prioritize the higher end models, but the rest is probably just luck. That or someone didn't want this one cuz it does have some rattling issues that need to get...

    July 2022 Model Y Order/Delivery

Right now Tesla's financing is really high. If you're in California, Tech CU and Star One have pretty good rates (3%). I would check other credit unions as well, they typically have better rates than traditional banks atm.

Credit Unions with good rates that accept applicants anywhere within the US?

https://www.nusenda.org/news-resources/rates-fees#AutoLoans This place has rates for 3% at 72 months. A lot of places raised theirs on the 1st and I missed out as well =(

    July 2022 Model Y Order/Delivery

I think the rebates are supposed to go into effect next year though? And aren't retroactive? If so, that's a pretty long time to wait for it. In case I kind of need a car so it's not something I can wait on lol.

    July 2022 Model Y Order/Delivery

Ordered a new MYP (white/white with FSD) on 07/16, delivery estimate originally for October-November. This morning got moved up to August 5-19, and then an hour later assigned a VIN and car is ready for pickup o.O Not sure if someone bailed on their order or something, but very big surprise.
