    Public chargers issue

Swipe first because you usually need to choose between CCS, Chademo or Type 2 on the Multiheaded Chargers.

    Public chargers issue

Personally I find connecting the cable to the car , swiping the RFID Card and then connecting the cable to the charger when prompted works best using Chargeplace Scotland so CYC Network and Card on Type 2 Charger. I do find the odd CCS Charger can be tempremental but usually a second attempt...

Wife, kids and dogs in a M3?

As others have said Supercharging is a huge benefit to Tesla Owners it's astonishing how quickly and easily you can recharge the Car, something which should be a pain becomes a joy. The fake leather in the Tesla Interior also wipes clean surprisingly easily but Fox Poo might be a first !

Wife, kids and dogs in a M3?

If it's only 5% of your driving then I think dogs and kids in the back dogs either on the centre seat or on someone's lap might well work.

    Chargeplace Scotland CYC

To be honest the Service has been deteriorating for months once CYC realised they were losing the deal they seem to have lost all focus with broken Chargers left for weeks and calls to their Helpdesk going unanswered, hopefully it can only get better once the migration is complete.

    Glasgow collection

I think the Superchargers were a Phase 2 certainly no sign of them when I did a drive by last week.

    Which would you take?

My own Commute prior to Lockdown was very similar to yours 14 Miles each way. I managed fine with a mainly weekly pretty full Charge and the odd shorter top up if Supermarket Shopping etc. Be aware that Winter is a very different prospect in any EV with around 20% drop in Range so you need to...

    Which would you take?

Is there any prospect of pressuring your Employer to install Workplace Charging assuming that you have private parking there ? There are Grants available and some Employers are becoming sensitive to Green Issues and ultimately it will be something that future potential Employees will seek. Re...

    Tesla Glasgow

Passed the Site today they still seem to be working on the Main Building so hard to know when it will open. Lots of cars awaiting delivery but no sign of Superchargers at this point.

    Agile plunge pricing predictions

If you can get onto Go Faster with a 20:30 - 00:30 window as we have done then you can also benefit from the Go Rate for Domestic Appliances such as Dishwasher, Tumble Dryer, Washing Machine etc. with minimal domestic upheaval. For us that's probably the overall sweet spot.

    Glasgow collection

They were still working on the Site 2 weeks ago and told me June opening so maybe that's correct. The Plans did include 8 Superchargers but in a Phase 2 so I would manage your expectations re Supercharger availability. If you have a longish drive after collection then maybe ask them to ensure...

    Tesla's don't like Deer

Hi yes it is them, Techie who picked the car up seemed to know what he was about so here's hoping.

    Tesla's don't like Deer

Body shop say 3-4 weeks and £3.5K approx, new front Bumper Section, new Bonnet painting etc. and new nearside Headlamp Cluster. The hire car is a Toyota Corolla Hybrid, they probably thought they were doing me a favour but they weren't it's terrible.

    ICE to EV doubts

I've had my M3 SR+ for almost 2 years and have never looked back, range is a slight concern but with a Home Charger and a little common sense you'll be fine. I find that any long drive kind of naturally breaks down into 2 hour stints for food / toilet breaks and if you combine these with...
