just purchased a 21 m3lr and considering swapping the aero's with the ubertine's. found a few sellers who are including the tpms. I'm wondering if the car will automatically recognize the new sensors. anything else I should be aware of? I understand range will drop.

you're right. i just figured it might be better to keep as much power in the battery so it doesn't take as long to charge up the next day.

so my experiment worked pretty well. at about 10:00 (when off peak starts) i set the tesla battery to "backup only" mode. this was the only frustrating part. it didn't immediately stop the battery from discharging. seemed to take about 30-45 minutes. then i started the charging of the bolt. i...

trying something new today. after watching the battery prioritize putting power back into the grid (inconsistently might I add) while in TBC mode, I've decided to go back to self powered mode for the majority of the day and then switch to TBC once we're in off peak hours to charge the car...

this seems like a great strategy to try. of course today it's raining here in LA but once the clouds move through i'm gonna see if this works. thanks again.

Thanks so much for posting this. since we've only got the bolt that only needs about an hour i wonder if i set my off peak to a couple hours in the evening if that would do the trick.
