Really? Then something is wrong with my car as in the rain brakes won’t slow the car down for a good couple of seconds. Freaky as hell.

I think Tesla should add brake pad drying like BMW has been doing for years. Not that hard to do, I think BMW is based on wiper usage, they apply brake to dry the discs when the wipers are in function. Then when you need the brakes you don't have the few seconds of nothing happening.

Any impressions on the RB street pads? I had a few instances of my car not having any brakes when raining. I understand that the initial bite will be soft due to the water, but that was really bad. Wondering if the RB street would be an improvement under these circumstances.

Only money has nothing to do with that. If you don't have money for a Plaid, you can still get out and test the LR acceleration. Dragy cost only 200$. I think LR don't really care much about performance, or at least not enough to get out and test. I take all these downvotes as a proof that I'm...

No rear was off, yes it’s a Plaid. But maybe I should try to turn it on and see if it changes anything.

I noticed today that cold air is coming in the car at highway speed from under the armrest. Anyone has that problem? Outside temp was -5c, ventilation was set at 20c. Hot air coming from the system but cold outside air is coming in from the under the front of the armrest.

My MSLR is due in a month and I won’t take it. I have been away from the forum for a while. Are there people still looking to jump the line or is it over? I have the old price locked in red, black 19s 117k$ instead of 122k$.

Vendor was ok with replacing the damaged wheels. I'll see how it goes but so far looks like everything will be alright. Looks like a stand up guy and he's willing to make the right thing and not give me the run around. I'm very pleased so far. Stay tuned.

Back from the wheel repair shop. The owner told me that even if he would profit from repairing the wheels, he would personally send them back. Not the quality he expects from forged wheels. I'm gonna follow his advice and see what the vendor has to say. Stay tuned.

I will ask about de-coating and recoating. I'll see what they say about that. That's actually a pretty good idea. One wheel was correct. So maybe send the two worst back and keep the two best. I love the idea. I always thought gold/bronze and White looks good. Maybe the time to try it. Though...

I talked to the vendor. He admits there was a problem as those wheels should not have been sent out. Being in Canada screws up my options a little. Vendor offered to take the bill to have them repaired locally. Sucks to have new wheels repaired. Refund. Sucks as those are great wheels...

It’s what I thought. I can’t wait to hear back from them to see what they suggest we do with this.
