7.8k here in Canada for Tesla EAP. Add to the fact that most people keep cars for 5-7 years and Tesla EAP ends up costing more. Both are not worth it unless you drive a lot, but Tesla's EAP cost more and has more features whereas Blue cruise has less issues and is has hands free. I had both...

    Tesla Blind Spot Monitor

Hyundai/Kia has the best implementation of this on some models. The camera in the gauge cluster plus noise alert and BSM light in mirror. Eyes are always forward and just a quick mirror check before changing lanes.

In Canada the pricing is close and I am surprised there isn't more demand for the Mach E. Mach E RWD is 4k cheaper than MY RWD, the AWD big battery is 2-3K more base cost, but add a paint colour and it's basically the same as MY LR I think the Y is superior but for people that don't care about...

Mine worked okay in the cars I had although it was not polished, but even if it was it still doesn't beat a manual input for simple things. The things voice are good at like navigation or controlling audio apps, most people are using android auto/carplay for anyways and it works better than...

I agree, adding additional shortcuts via steering wheel buttons helps. But the fact is people had to wait this long for things like wiper functionality(auto wipers still suck). They sometimes are trying to re-invent the wheel for no reason - a stalk with more inputs would have been an easier...

Yeah your right. Maybe you should also remove your steering wheel because Tesla's big picture is everyone using autopilot and no manual inputs You don't remove stuff until you have a comparable alternative, period

So one zero intervention video is suppose to override the countless others I have seen where it hangs up and has no idea what to do. I've seen it completely miss poles and pipes when backing up. I've seen dimensions so far off it might as well be randomized numbers. Also identified a broom as...

Driving comparison against Audi Q5 on 20" wheels?

The Model 3 suspension being so stiff fits the description of a sports sedan and isn't overly stiff compared to others in the segment like the 3-series (although I still find it more comfortable) The Model Y suspension does not really suit the segment and by comparison to rivals it is much more...

Driving comparison against Audi Q5 on 20" wheels?

I had a model 3 and I am looking at a Model Y. I have taken it out a few times on overnight test drives to check car seats, cargo space, etc. and to have my wife drive it in case we need to swap vehicles as I currently take her SUV for camping trips. I've driven a Q5 a few times and my wife...

So you normally have the 2nd row up and third row down. So it is 43.5 to 26.6 cu.ft (30.6 with frunk) Ascent vs Y. So it is 42% more space that is also a box shape vs a dome top, small side compartments, lower level storage and a small frunk (AKA not efficient space). There is more to cargo...

same volume with no one in the back two rows. Anytime else and it is not. So not the same 95% of the time, while also being more square in shape (rather than sloped), making it easier to pack and effectively more space. A dome like area with side spaces and under storage is not the same as a...

I didn't realize you are hauling family stuff without a family in the vehicle... The most important cargo space is behind the 2nd row then behind the 3rd row, Ascent has more room. 43.5/17.8 vs 26.6/12.8. Wow 3" more 2nd row legroom (the only dimension of this type the MY wins), yet over...

The link numbers are referencing space behind the Model Y 2nd row vs the ascent 3rd row. It was for you to get a sense of the size difference. The numbers I posted are correct from manufacturers and somewhat verified on review sites (motortrend shows more space for the ascent). Tesla is wide...

Only with all seats down where it's close? 2nd row 26.6 vs 43.5 3rd row 12.8 vs 17.8 Leg room 3rd row 26.5 Vs 31.7 Not to mention the better hip and shoulder space in all rows. It's just flat out more room and more space. Heck just look at the size difference...
