New Owners: What was your last car? How much more was the MS than that car?

Here is my progression: 2013 Tesla P85 CPO bought in 2016 for $56k 2013 Nissan LEAF $22,500 (after fed) but I leased at $60 a month after $5k state refund :) 2008 BMW 335 coupe CPO bought in 2011 for $33k 2002 Subaru Outback bought new for $23k

How can it be so hard to allow the owner to set when she/he wants the car fully charg

+1 This is the only feature that my Nissan LEAF did better than my Tesla. My TOU rate ends at 7am so would simply set it to 6:45 every day. It worked great! As for cluttering up the UI it is a simple start/end time toggle switch.

    My Tesla CPO Buying Experience

P85's in the mid 50's with less than 20k are very rare i think there might have been 1 or 2 other cars like mine. There were about 15 in that price range but with 30-50k miles. Signup with ev-CPO.com and you can see the full history. With the reduced inventory they have clearly raised the prices...

    Optimum No Rinse (ONR) Convert

I have never really been a car washer. I would go to the automatic washers every couple months and that was about it (Not even touch less.....the horror! :)). I knew that was not going to work with the Tesla so tonight I just finished my second ONR. All I can say is WOW! I can’t believe how easy...

    My Tesla CPO Buying Experience

Not sure why they listed that. Mine was a Jan13 build but was CPO'd on 12/31/15. Maybe they do this on the CPO's and list the certification date

What happened to the cpo inventory?

Skotty don't do this. Yes shipping charges suck but make your search national! There is a wide range of pricing between each market and California easily has the most inventory available. My SFO CPO was $10k less than any of the P85's in Atlanta so I was happy to pay the $1,500. My Tesla CPO...

    My Tesla CPO Buying Experience

The picture above is after they "reconditioned" it and it did look better than it was on delivery but it was still cracking. I thought they might just replace that leather section but was pleasantly surprised to see an entirely new bottom seat when I picked the car up. Since a few people have...

    ICEd Superchargers - Next Steps

The whole concept of shared spots does not make a whole lot of sense to me. If Tesla is going to make the investment to install Superchargers they should find spots that allow dedicated parking. I also don't understand why Tesla does not paint the parking spots in red or green paint so there...

    My Tesla CPO Buying Experience

Here is a picture of the seat prior to replacement: The light is not great but you can see the cracking. They replaced the whole bottom portion of the seat. I have not seen any build quality issues. I had a 2014 loaner for a week (~VIN25k) and I could tell no difference from my car. I...

    CPO buyers

Mine came with new tires but it was not requested or negotiated. I think it just depends on the condition of them when they get turned in.

    My Tesla CPO Buying Experience

This forum was incredibly helpful in helping me decide to go with a Tesla CPO. I wanted to detail my experience so others could learn from it. I have previously bought BMW and Audi CPO’s so that is my reference point in this review. I also am coming from driving a 2013 Nissan LEAF for the past...

Tesla Model S CPO Website - Now Live

i just made this same decision a couple weeks ago and went with option C. I was originally going to go with option B but decided that the P was worth the $5k premium. For mid 50's you will get a lower vin build but it doesn't have to be a stripper you just have to be patient :). On the VIN, I...

Official Model S Child Seat Thread - reviews, pictures, and discussion

Interesting, I just looked at my 1/2013 build and confirmed there is a center LATCH position! I am going to move mine over to the center and see how that works.
