Lets not complain about SC costs...

I used the public charger at the Jamaican Inn at the end of May and it was twice as expensive as the superchargers in Camborne!

Auto window closing and app window control removed in the states. Hope it doesn't cross the pond.

By the sound of it the Chinese consumers are very militant and would soon be demanding a refund if that happened...

Teslas and UK ‘don’t touch your phone’ laws

Seems very much like bolting the door after the horse has bolted! Surely it would have been better to ensure that the basic functions can be performed without causing distraction.

Teslas and UK ‘don’t touch your phone’ laws

It is the one function that I wish they had stuck to a more standard method of operation. Pressing the end of the stalk is fine but if you want to switch nodes you have to focus on the screen to select the mode you want. I would vote for having the button cycle through the modes that would...

Teslas and UK ‘don’t touch your phone’ laws

So what happens if you have a crash while trying to turn the wipers on! That's bloody distracting, and don't say "use auto wipers" because it never seems to clear the screen quickly enough....

Charging at hotels, caravans, guesthouses, cabins etc with 3 pin plug

I only take the granny charger to use in an emergency, if possible I charge at a fast charger. On our trip to the lakes it proved to be relatively easy and stress free.

    UK Roadtrip Charging

We recently did a road trip from north Hampshire to Edinburgh and back via Chester, the lakes and Alnwick Castle. Used a mixture of Superchargers, Ionity and InstaVolt chargers. All worked just fine. Cost ~£150 for ~1000 miles. I used ABRP to plan the trip and charge stops.

Is it worth to try to ask Tesla to sort rattles as warranty!?

I had the same problem fixed on mine last week. The ranger fixed a couple of rattles but there is still one so I have re-booked

Tesla need to show more third party chargers

That's why it needs to be properly integrated with the navigation tool to include charger status information to avoid visiting broken chargers

Tesla need to show more third party chargers

I'm not so sure it should be so restrictive. Some places up north are very short of chargers and I would take a 50kW charge over nothing...

Tesla open up the SuC network [in UK]

Reading that report I don't understand why Tesla don't block access to cars with incompatible charge port locations. This could be done on a site by site basis and would allow them time to add longer cables to the superchargers. And by the way, longer cables are less efficient.

    Thanks, that's good to know

    ABRP and Tesla route planner

If you use the energy app and pick the Trip tab it will give you an up to date consumption consumption chart with predicted % at the destination

I didn't think you could turn pre-conditioning off!?

Went for a drive, something wrong with predicted range

378 Wh/Mile would account for the lack of range ;)
