Tesla Needs a Service Center in Syracuse, NY

The service center and show room in Fayetteville opened today. As of around noon, they were still having some issues with scheduling, but should have that worked out soon, if they haven't already. Steve, an excellent mobile tech who many of you in the area are probably familiar with, was working...

Please Help Identify This Model S Part

Thanks! I did glue it last night, using Gorilla Glue. The trunk closed fine, and should be helping hold the bump stop in place, while the glue bonds. When my wife gets home tonight I will check it out and see if it has held in place. Thank you!

Please Help Identify This Model S Part

So it was, in fact, the rear trunk bump stop. I found pictures online, and while it would be easy to buy the part on eBay, the problem is that the bump stop has a female screw thread, but my screw broke off at the base, inside the car, and the screw is rusted into the actual bump stop. I'm...

Please Help Identify This Model S Part

Thanks very much to both of you. We don't really use the front trunk, and my wife did open the rear trunk last night, so that definitely makes sense. I had thought it was probably an internal part, based on the fact that it is quite clean, except for the rusty part. When she gets home I will...

Please Help Identify This Model S Part

I just found this in the garage, near where our Model S P85D parks. My wife has the car at work now, so I can't inspect the car to see if I notice anything obvious missing. Anyone know what this is? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    Supercharger - Binghamton, NY

Actually it's been operational for about three years now.

TeslaLog.com - Your hosted Tesla Data Logger - Announcement / Support threads

Would it help if you did something to allow people to donate to the cause? I'm not suggesting "charging" for the service, but perhaps just asking for voluntary contributions. What do you think?

    Firmware 8.1 - Autopilot HW1

I was close. It's 463: Stop the Press! Tesla announces REAL HP numbers for P85D and P90L

    Firmware 8.1 - Autopilot HW1

I'm glad you are happy, but you did not get what you paid for.

    Firmware 8.1 - Autopilot HW1

That's after the Ludicrous upgrade, right? @HankLloydRight was asking about the original P85D.

    Firmware 8.1 - Autopilot HW1

I haven't thought about this in a while, and I'm sure it's possible to look it up somewhere, but off the top of my head, the number that I recall, which may not be correct, is 465.

And then to 2.9 with Ludicrous, but only if you have max battery heater on and ready and also use launch mode.

    Firmware 8.1 - Autopilot HW1

Fair enough. Perhaps I would be more willing to accept some of the broken promises were it not for the 691 HP fiasco. For me, that changed everything.

    Firmware 8.1 - Autopilot HW1

How well does your car come to pick you up on private property? How about fulfilling the promises made at the D event, which are the promises many of us purchased based upon. I would argue that Tesla most certainly does have a legal obligation to update the firmware on my car until such time...

Spare Switched 12V Circuit on Model S built after July 2014

Sorry. This was a year and a half ago, so my recollection is fuzzy. I did get the front camera working on my own. I believe I got the thing apart, and then matched up the wires, and put it back together. There is no question in my mind that others here will be able to help you far better than...
