    Use a heat gun or hair dryer to remove the tape carefully. And those 3M red tapes they sell in home depot will hold up well enough. When we design spoiler, we usually leave 0.8mm on the spoiler to install tape, so use the tape that has around 0.8mm thickness shall work(not exactly sure about...

    yes, thats what we usually recommend our buyers to do. otherwise the tape will loss over time. and if the car is already ceramic coated, we would recommend owners use soap to wash the car, and then use alcohol to remove the coat on the install area.
