    Phone call echo [solved]

Just wanted to document a solution to a problem I was having from one of the relatively recent software updates: folks on the other end of my Bluetooth, through the car mic/speakers phone calls, would experience an echo of their own voices. This happens on our model 3, but not on our model x...

No LATCH in 3rd row, solutions?

No, I have just been making sure that the seatbelt is routed through the booster seat back's seat belt guide + under the arm rest, hoping that would be enough to hold it in place in the event of a sudden stop.

No LATCH in 3rd row, solutions?

We have a RideSafer vest for occasional Uber rides and it works great! Yes, the booster seat company was very careful to not endorse having the booster seat installed without latch without a child buckled up in it. I was thinking about a solution where the latch connectors could connect to 2...

No LATCH in 3rd row, solutions?

I missed the memo where Tesla removed LATCH booster and car seat attachments in the 3rd row of the model X. Before receiving our refreshed model X, we had rented an older model X to make sure it had everything we needed - that one had LATCH, but it has since been quietly removed from production...

Refreshed 2021+ Model X and Model X Plaid waiting room

I dealt with this today (taking delivery on Friday). The $2k credit didn't get applied until after my delivery day/time was scheduled and I had already sent in the dealer funding request for 3rd party financing. The very last step was for me to e-sign documents via the Tesla app and pay the...

Refreshed 2021+ Model X and Model X Plaid waiting room

It must have been assigned within the past few days. I check my account about once a week. The vin ends in NF3275XX (blue/white, 6-seater, 20", no FSD). I will update the spreadsheet once I get contacted by Tesla about potential delivery. One could understand that I don't quite believe any...

Refreshed 2021+ Model X and Model X Plaid waiting room

I agree, having climate control on while parked (kids napping, etc) without burning gas would be amazing. However, the minivan market only makes up like 2% of the overall car market. So, we will probably have to wait for Toyota & Honda to electrify before an electric van hits the market.

Major 2021 Model X refresh pending [Update: Unveiled January 27, 2021]

In our case, we need the flexibility for an adult to sit in the 3rd row. We currently have 3 bulky car seats to fit into our family car and the model X 6 seater is the most appealing to us. On longer trips, an adult needs to ride in the back to keep dishing out the snacks and comfort the kids...

Major 2021 Model X refresh pending [Update: Unveiled January 27, 2021]

Have you seen this video of the model Y 3rd row? https://youtu.be/sb-Jxr4hVjM There is no way it will compete with the X 3rd row, where actual adults can actually comfortably sit.

3 Car Seats - Twins due in September

I finally got around to testing the 3 car seat config in our model 3. Amazingly, it works and it's not too cramped in the front seat. Pictured: 2 Graco rear facing and 1 Chicco forward facing. All seats secured using seat belts (not latch).
