A friend of mine got MY delivered yesterday and it has the same humming noise. He will check with the service center but since he will go to the same service center that I went to I am sure he is going to get same "its normal" response.

I asked him to compare with older 2021 Model 3 as well, he said that's quiet possible as some of them may not be using the advanced heat pump. I even asked to compare with recent models and he had the standard answer that he cannot use customer cars for this purpose.

That is even worse situation. Hit or trial is not the right approach to solve a problem. If they agree to the problem, they must first try to root cause it, identify a permanent fix and then address it on all affected vehicles.
