Model 3 Tires, Tire Sizes, Types, make / model recommendations, tire discussions, etc

Looking to replace OE Contis on the 19in wheels with Michelin PS4S, stock size. Problem is there isn't a T0 designated PS4S for the 19 inch wheels. Two variants are available on Tirerack, Porsche N0 and a normal one with no manufacturer designation. Which one would work better on my P3D-? Thanks

Concerns over Model 3 Performance brakes efficiency. How good is it? After market brakes?

BBK are typically come with better pads and disks than stock, while heat capacity gives a more confident feel lap after lap. You were commented on braking distance in in vast majority of your comments here. Pretty sure that constitutes fixation. I think we all agree that the majority of the...

Concerns over Model 3 Performance brakes efficiency. How good is it? After market brakes?

Man this is stupid. Knightshade is so fixated on only when braking is traction limited. Of course only the tire matters during traction-limited phase. Outside of the traction-limited phase, BBK is obviously better. BBK gives superior feel and response time to many drivers. This superior...

Maybe a dump question, but it's physics

It’s physics time! Potential Energy = mass x gravity x height This is the energy you gain and have due to gravity when you drive up a mountain. Your car converts electricity to motion or Kinetic Energy. By the law of conservation of energy, the amount of energy you gain when you go up a...

Horrible Range 2020 Model 3 LR, Dual Motor!

Pics of the efficiency or it didn't happen. This is the only way to know for sure, nobody can identify what the problem is if you don't provide any data aside from subjective measures like "accelerat[ing] gradually" etc. The efficiency page looks like the attached file: It's the number above wh/mi

Charge limit to 80% vs 90%. Will 90% significantly degard battery capacity?

The lower you go down in SOC the smaller the affect on battery health e.g. the difference between 90% and 80% in terms of battery health is greater than the difference between 60% and 70%. I think it is worth it for you to charge below 90% (try 85%) if you keep your car for at least 4 years.

New Track Mode v2 and Track pack!?!?

Define "new." My P3D- has track mode, MY2020, got it in December 2019.
