So did you get a new VIN assigned after the 30 day hold? What was your EDD at that point?

So for those of you who delayed their orders, did you already have a VIN assigned? I received my VIN on 11/08. Tesla said I can put a hold on it til 12/08. Does that mean I will get a new one? I am hoping to take delivery in the new year but I am slightly confused on the "delaying" process.

Opinions from the folks on here: With the recent change to the EV tax credits and it being changed from a credit to now being refundable, do you believe it is a good idea to have your order delayed until 1/1/22? Also, anyone here have an order delayed on purpose and what was the process like?

Got this just now!!! EDD is November 17-23 and they are asking for final payment. EDD was March 04 - March 30 earlier today. I can't believe this!
