I returned my lease two months ago in anticipation of buying the MY. Rejected delivery two weeks ago for the same reason, and now I do grocery shopping on the bicycle. It doesn't get any environmentally friendlier than this. On the positive side - I feel like the longer I wait, the better are...

The car is definitely better, otherwise, people would NOT let Tesla to get away with so many f***ups. But I agree, the process is hideous.

Are you sure her perfectly fine white pearl model 3 wasn't an accident? :) Passing those cars with an ovious defect to the next clueless, or careless customer is what bothers me the most!

Back off! Pearl white is a very special color. My last mineral white BMW had mismatching paint!!!!! .... Now that I remember it. I had an accident, so the front had to be painted. Even then, it looked 100 times better than the Model Y I rejected last week.

There should not be any mismatch. And if there is, you will have to live convincing yourself and maybe others that it is not that bad. ;)

Tesla has plenty of perfectly fine pearl white Models 3, S, X on the streets. Other companies too. This is the main reason why I rejected the car - I just wasn't ready to justify Tesla’s ****ups by comparing it to other cars.

I totally agree! If they admit that it is a problem, they are facing spending more than $2000 to fix it.

Matching the color is going to be difficult. Did they promise to pain the whole car? As someone mentioned here, that car will go to the next less caring (if at all) customer on their waiting list. When I rejected delivery, a couple of people left looking happy in their white MYs with...

I highly doubt they transported it to New York because it was still on the parking lot on Wednesday (sad looking). The VIN was - xx291 EDIT: Just noticed - My had a black interior.

Did you really have to rub it in by reposting the picture I took of the MY, I rejected? :( It still hurts every time I see it or any other picture of white MYs, posted by unsuspecting owners. There are quite a few out there.
