I just rebooted my MCU2, and it took the programming this time. If you want to reboot the MCU2, you need to hold the two roller buttons for like 5 secs until the screen turn blank, and it will reboot. Glad I got it resolved. It is just another Tesla software glitch that needs to get fixed.

Yes remote works fine in front of the garage each time I programmed it. I am using the remote now to open/close the door. Believe me, I am puzzled by it worked on my 2015 but not my 2018. Not sure what else I can try. I need this to work though.

I am about to pick up my brand new Model S this Friday. I am thinking about custom seat cover to keep the seats neat since I got one kid. Any recommendation on which seat cover that won't make the interior look ugly or cheezy? Would really appreciate some recommendations here. Thanks.

On the new cars, which I will pick up mine on Friday, lifetime free charging will stay with the original owner only. Once you sell the car, the new owner won't get it. I think older cars have lifetime super charging grandfathered in. I hope they don't take that away in the future.

I am already paying a crap load for the car, what's another extra $3K. I gonna get it just so I don't miss out the extra tech. Hopefully, it will be worth it soon when the new 9.0 update comes out.
