Suspension question for folks who’ve had German cars

My previous M3 (and corvette before that) felt more comfortable/stable at high speed (85+mph) than my current 3P, which can feel light / jittery at times. Part of it might be the suspension tuning over bumps at high speeds. By no means does it feel unstable but it is noticeably different than...

    P3D+ fastest 0-60 for cars under 60K?

Do what I did: P3D for commuting / roadtrips and ND2 Miata for the weekend/track car. The Miata is pretty much the exact opposite of the P3D. Lightweight, nimble, engaging at all speeds, convertible, stickshift, not many nannies (for a modern car) and.... slow :)

    Get used to acceleration?

Used to the acceleration? Maybe. But launching from a standstill on a good surface with no traffic around gives me a huge grin. Regen down to 10-20mph and flooring it yields uncontrollable laughter every time

    Supercharger - Columbus, TX

Had the same experience with 1B. Full 120kW but refused to disconnect and had to use the manual release

P3D+/P3D- Owners: Do You Ever Use Chill Mode?

I use chill mode on longer trips over rough pavement. Sport mode can be too twitchy on a bumpy road where the bumps in the road translate to micromovements in my foot resulting in jerkiness. However, chill mode is too laggy as depressing the pedal to the floor only receives like 50% power at a...

Max Battery Power Missing - Firmware 2019.8.3

Got the update for 2019.16.2. Max Battery Power back on my P90DL! I hear the fans spinning and see the time to warm up on the screen now. Will need to test out launch control tomorrow :D

Max Battery Power Missing - Firmware 2019.8.3

Following. Updated last night to 2019.12.1.1 and now lost launch control / max battery power. Could be a miscalibrated butt dyno but also feels like I've lost power with regular ludicrous enabled

    P90DL battery replacement thread.

Thanks. I saw that spreadsheet earlier but didn't see mine on there, probably because like you said it hasnt been updated in a while. I wonder if Tesla is quietly replacing/recalling the older batteries (I haven't read this full thread yet). I charged to 100% a couple weeks ago and the dash...

    P90DL battery replacement thread.

I recently bought a "CPO" 2015 P90DL and looked by the passenger wheel well to see what battery version I had: 1104028-01-C This means the battery was swapped right? I tried searching that version on TMC but didn't find any info about it. Do I have some kind of special version?

Creep on or off and why

Creep off for me, feels more natural coming from manual transmission ICE. Creep on only seems to make sense if you frequently creep in a place where you cannot autopilot (parking garage) and might need to brake suddenly.

Owners delivery stories, photos and first impressions

Thought I would chime in here with my experience buying a "CPO" 2015 P90DL recently. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience despite some of the horror stories I've read on here. Each step was pretty smooth except for some coordination with the delivery advisor which I'll detail more below...

Help Using Tesla Maps Route Planner

New to Tesla and I just bought the car but it seems silly that there's no function to add waypoints. During my 1200 mile roadtrip back after purchasing the car, I found the in car nav to be reasonable but for some stops I just charged for an extra few minutes to give myself a buffer. The nav...

    Hello from Texas

Most P90DLs range from $55k to $70k based on my research tracking them for about a month on ev-cpo. I paid on the lower end of that for mine with 33k miles, all the major options (subzero, air suspension, premium package, sound system), and one that lived its life in a warm climate. Blue and Red...

How many FOBs for a CPO Model S

On my listing that I just bought, it had a picture of 2 fobs and when I picked it up, it also came with 2 fobs. 2 fobs should be expected for a Tesla being sold through a Tesla dealer even if it is used so I would stick with your guns.
