Update: Gave the car back to Tesla 2 weeks ago to have another go at fixing the problem. They indicate they have no solution available, that it's a known firmware issue (unsolved for over a year). Does anyone have any recommendations on how to move forward? They are offering no way to solve it...

Reached out to Tesla Service to get a compare on the OEM covers directly from them. Will update with details + SKU numbers.

These don't look like they cover the entire wheel cap, just the center portion. See the photo in the OP

Went out for dinner last night in San Francisco and came back to the car to find the passenger side tire wheel lug nut covers stolen. Nothing was recorded on sentry oddly enough. Noticed a bunch of other Teslas in our area also missing them. Any recommendations on where to source replacements?

We found a service via yelp that repaired our rims for $150 per wheel. I'm sure they'd give you a discount if you were doing all 4 wheels. They drove out to our house and sorted it out while we were at work and by the end you couldn't even tell the rims had ever been curbed. Happy to provide...

I've had this issue constantly since we got our MYP 6 months ago. The only fix for us is to reboot the car after every single drive. The car has been in for numerous SC visits and troubleshooting but Tesla claim there's nothing they can do.

After further troubleshooting with Tesla I got the following back from them: So looks like I'm SOL until they figure something out on their end - until then I have to remember to reset the car every time I park away from home.
