    Nonetheless, $54,000 is not mass market. Moreover, I don't know where you get your $36k or your resale value; but according to Consumer Reports, the Accord is a much better car.

    That still doesn't make the M3 a "mass market" car. It costs $54,000 to buy a M3 equipped as well as a $27,000 Accord.

    I don't understand your response. Why would I not be serious? Consumers reports gave the M 3 a road test score (which includes noise) of 75; the Kia Optima received 86.     Why are all these M3s being totaled in head-on crashes in the first place? I thought that automatic emergency braking should prevent this. Does anyone know why they are happening?

    My "negativity" started when I discovered that my $35,000 car was going to cost $50,000. I think you can probably trace most of what you see as negativity to the July 28 reveal; which for me showed fewer standard features and much higher prices than I expected.

    When the 2020 MS2 comes out, it will have 130kWh of 2170s for the same price as todays S100D.
