I ended up having one installed. Purely because it's more efficient. It will eventually pay for itself, plus there's a 30% tax credit. Paid Dogwood Solar $1100 for install and charger.

Right, but would be cool if you had a bluetooth device that plugged into the usb that had buttons to control the heated seats via bluetooth interacting with their API.

Yes, I'm assuming someone is sitting back there. This would be so that they could change their temperature or toggle the heated seats.

Is there some sort of hardware dongle that you can plug into the rear usb ports - that has buttons or a small screen where riders can control their climate and heated seats? It would control the car via bluetooth or even USB. Basically it would make up for the lack of buttons in the car.

Is it worth it to get a Level 2 charger installed in a home garage? I imagine the standard plug would be good enough. If I do that I may order a second basic charger so that I can have one in my car in case of emergency - or road trips without having to remember to grab it.
