Springfield, Missouri & 417 Area Code- growing number of Teslas

Glad to see you are getting a group going down in the Springfield area Evan. The KC group has just gotten together once a year for Sunday brunch. I have organized that and it is about time to organize that again. Last year we met at Lydia's and everyone seemed to enjoy it. So, we will probably...

Tesla Destination Chargers in Millennium Lakeside Garage

Thanks for the info. I called about the Aqua garage and they said I would be welcome to park there. I think it was $40/day and the Millenium Park was around $30/day. Both better than the $75/day at the Fairmont.

Tesla Destination Chargers in Millennium Lakeside Garage

Has anyone used the destination chargers in the Millennium Lakeside Garage at Millennium Park in Chicago? I am going to be staying at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park in a few weeks and there is no charging at the hotel. I was thinking about parking in the Millennium garage. Is it walking...

    Supercharger - Emporia, KS

We drove from the Shawnee area South on 495 to 35 South all the way to Wichita. It was about 190 miles and with a full charge we were able to make it driving just a bit over the speed limit the whole way. Arrived in Wichita with under 20 miles of range remaining if I remember correctly. We...

    Supercharger - Emporia, KS

I agree. If you live on the MO side, a 70 wouldn't make it all the way to Wichita driving highway speeds. I live in Johnson County and while I have made the drive to Wichita in my P85 it would be much more comfortable with a supercharger in Emporia. In the interim, there is a Westar Energy J1772...

Our family of five took a 3 week road trip from Kansas City to San Diego and back by way of Tucson. Carried gear for the mountains, the desert, and the beach. Brought along kids homeschooling supplies, 9 duffel bags, 3 coolers, 3 smaller bags, a wheel chair, a tent, sports equipment...

2nd annual Kansas City area Tesla Enthusiast's Club Brunch June 7, 2015

A fun event We had a better turn out for our second brunch than I expected. For those of you who couldn't make it, here is a run down.... I think there were 9 Teslas in Lidia's parking lot; although, I didn't get a chance to count before we left for the Independence supercharger. I also...

2nd annual Kansas City area Tesla Enthusiast's Club Brunch June 7, 2015

Come on by. Brunch starts at noon; but, I'll be there before that to set up a projector. It looks like we are going to have a smaller group than last year so the more the merrier. You don't have to stay the whole time of course if you need to get going. Safe travels.

Quality problems; "veteran members" tell us, how significant are they?

I have an early 2013 P85. I have had a few issues. The most extensive was a drive train replacement which they did for the known issue of a low rumbling sound. I also had the door handles, TPMS, and the 12 volt battery replaced. I have driven it across country and to work every day for the...

Kansas City Tesla Owners and Enthusiasts Get Together

Sorry to hear about that. I am guessing you skipped topping off in Columbia? The event was fun. The front/back of the store is confusing since it is a rectangle with entrances on both sides. I think the lady scheduling test rides was stationed by the "front door" to catch people as they...
