Will the Cybertruck Be able to tow a 5th Wheel?

I saw that. I understand that it's possible that a fifth wheel could be designed to work with the Cybertruck's design and still have adequate clearance to the bed in turns and on uneven ground. When the design is finalized and if an adequate selection of such fifth wheels exist at the time, I...

Will the Cybertruck Be able to tow a 5th Wheel?

There are plenty of F-150s towing smaller fifth wheels, like the one I have. Towed another with a Ram 1500 before that. Lots of people don't want to live with an HD truck 100% of the time when they're only towing a camper 5% of the time. Since the Cybertruck appears to be out of the question...

Tesla (Model S & X) no longer eligible for Ontario rebate?

It comes out of the Green Ontario Fund. That doesn’t mean it’s free money. It could be used to improve public transportation, retrofit homes for energy efficiency, buy land to establish parks, or capture landfill gas. There are a million uses for that money that are better than for us to buy...

Tesla (Model S & X) no longer eligible for Ontario rebate?

The i8 is not on the list. Sorry, but there's no reason a person buying a $75,000 vehicle needs a taxpayer incentive. For people interested in reducing emissions, there are many options available now that have useful range and are affordable. Volt Bolt Leaf Pacifica PHEV Clarity e-Golf Focus...

Why not? They're awash in profits. They're capitalized already to go straight to the mass market.

Chevy Bolt - 200 mile range for $30k base price (after incentive)

I don't think it is. Especially since they're showing 100,000 units in 2018, before China's requirements come into effect. Is compliance encouraging them? Sure. But they have a history of making investments into producing vehicles that are too good for compliance cars.

Chevy Bolt - 200 mile range for $30k base price (after incentive)

Sounds like China is going to have a lot of small, urban runabouts to choose from.

Chevy Bolt - 200 mile range for $30k base price (after incentive)

Seems odd that GM would develop 20 new vehicles just to meet China's regulatory mandates, if they could meet the requirement with one or two models of small, urban runabout. Are other manufacturers also doing this?

GOP tax reform bill would end the $7500 EV tax credit (and other tax related grousing and grumbling)

Ahh, okay. I figured that must include more than CO2. Thank you. And people complain about a $0.07 per litre carbon tax.

Sorry, I’m not sure whether you meant that literally. $3.80 seems a bit high.
