Model S Winters: Slipstreams, Blizzaks, TPMS (Chicago)

Located in Chicago. 4 Bridgestone Blizzak 245/45R19 (winter) tires with ~6,000 miles from one season of wear 4 19” Silver Slipstreams in good shape These are unmounted - the wheels include Gen 1 (eg 2012-2014) TPMS. Would be easy to swap to Gen 2 given they are unmounted at this time...

    2017 Model S 75D AP2 - 16K Miles - EAP - Third row option -Multi coat red- Seattle

So you paid $86,200, and harvested the $7,500 federal rebate, making your cost basis $78,700. You drove 16,000 miles and now want to sell for 96.6% of your basis? Just want to make sure I've got this right.

    Minnesota Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

Anyone hear anything about the forthcoming west-metro supercharger's location? The supercharger map on Tesla's website shows - I believe - three "coming soon" spots generally in the west metro. This is long overdue in my opinion, would love to know where they may go in! Anyone?

    Software 8.0 Likes/Dislikes for Pre-Autopilot Model S

Is there an email address at which Tesla can be contacted directly about these issues?

    Software 8.0 Likes/Dislikes for Pre-Autopilot Model S

Couldn't agree more. I use camera and nav on main UI, so changing sources is now clumsy and dangerous. Elon will point at the new left wheel controls to toggle favorites, but that doesn't allow you to change the source (specifically there is no way to get to Bluetooth via favorites). What...

    Minnesota Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

MSP has, for some reason, been treated differently than the other ~32 largest cities in the United States:

Major Cities without Superchargers - Outliers

Certainly get that - just drawing attention to how much further SCs are from two pretty major, progressive metro areas versus the 32 other large metro areas in the US.

Major Cities without Superchargers - Outliers

Nowhere in my post did it say these should be used by locals. The table posted simply compares facts - mileage from nearest supercharger to each of the largest metro areas (note the header - it doesn't say city). Like any good Texan you're doing a great job talking about your state. But this...

Major Cities without Superchargers - Outliers

If that is your logic, then why would Tesla have put Superchargers in the other 30 largest cities (34 minus NY & LA minus SEA & MSP)? Did they make a mistake?

Major Cities without Superchargers - Outliers

Agree that they aren't for local use - but it's not always so simple. Visiting Seattle or MSP would be much easier if you could charge up when you arrive, or as you leave. Tesla put superchargers so close to the other 31 major cities - so no matter your opinion of SC's intended use - MSP and...

Major Cities without Superchargers - Outliers

Found this list on twitter - why do you think Seattle and Minneapolis have been treated differently than the other ~30 major cities? Both have plenty of Teslas (and would rank very high in terms of progressiveness among the cities on this list)...

    Firmware 7.1

the release notes are the same as the prior version - this is just an incremental update, which only notably updates driver profiles so they carry the driver's preferred creep setting.
