  • Just curious, have you ever opened up the headlights on these cars? I am getting a 2018 model S and am thinking of customizing the headlights a bit.
Love your work. I learned a lot from your youtube videos. Do you have any instructions on how to take apart the folding mirror mechanism?

Awesome my brother. Can't wait to see that video. :)
Great videos, nice to see what lies beneath.
Do you have a drivers door interior panel (any condition) in your stash? I want to carve one up to see if I can make a map pocket.
    Thanks

Do you have an extra plastic interior panel for the rear hatch (lift gate)? Since it is plastic, the salt water shouldn't have damaged this.

I'm trading my car in and mine is scratched up badly.

I highly doubt they'd even notice. They would only dock you for paint and body condition and making sure there are no holes in the seats that's about it, how bad is the scratch?

There are 2 sections that are each about 3 inches square - it looks more like a rubbing than a scratch so they cannot be easily hidden. I read something about using a heat gun to heat up the plastic and then use graining pads to reproduce the fake grain but I don't have easy access to the pads or a heat gun.

Would you suggest risking it and seeing what they say? I just don't want the whole transaction to get messed up because of this.
