    Front Strut Rattle - SOLVED

I’m going to give this a shot. Do I have to remove air from the system or anything like that in order to remove the strut ?

Is it really super dangerous to go over the 120pound weight limit of the stock tow hitch? I’m about 30-50 pounds over.

i've also personally gone way over the hitch load limit. However, I eventually installed the draw-tite class 3 for peace of mind.

2017 Tesla Model X P90D - What are your experiences? (Advice on purchasing used Model X)

fwiw, i replaced the tilt motor in my 2nd row passenger side seat and it was a lot easier than I had thought. It took about 1 hr tops, the service manual has the instructions.

i'm about to do it on mine too, you mentioned in a previous post that I have to empty bellows? Can you elaborate on that?

Sc01 transfer and keysavvy bill of sale?

Just would like to add I purchased an sc01 Tesla with keysavvy and it worked out however note that the sc01 transfer is out of their hands on whether that works out or not. The sc01 transfer is completely reliant on the previous owner doing it in their app and keysavvy is completely out of the...

    Model X vs Macan EV

The German fit and finish is no contest. However German tech is also no contest. They are historically the worst type of automobile implementation and reliability when it comes to anything electrical or electronic.

How much does Tesla charge to change heated steering control module with clockspring?

Mine went out and so none of the wheel buttons work and I'm getting restraint error. The wheel also makes a small amount of clicking noise when I turn the wheel. Does anyone know how much does Tesla charge to fix change out the steering control module and or how much the part costs...

What version of Used Model X would you recommend?

Don’t get a used one. The new ones are priced low enough and you really want the warranty. To give you an idea a broken ac compressor will cost you upwards of 4-6k from the sc. that’s just one of the many big ticket items. Don’t do it.

    2016 Model X Autopilot

Meh. Mcu1 to 2 was not worth it imo. Other than to get fsd its a waste of $2k

    Tesla Service Screwed up

i dont believe this to be true. two of my legacy MX (with FSD) came with free camera upgrade.

    model x 2017 FSD upgrade

All great points above, however, I will also give my thoughts since I've owned 3 legacy MX's each with a diff combination of EAP/FSD/MCU. '16 P90D has EAP and MCU1. '16 75D had FSD and originally MCU1 -> paid to upgrade to MCU2 '16 P100D had EAP and MCU2 -> paid to upgrade to FSD First off...

    model x 2017 FSD upgrade

That is MASSIVE. $4k savings is nothing to sneeze at. Thanks for the heads up, I went ahead and bought it. In regard to the mcu upgrade tho, I'm basing it on my experience from my first MX where I had FSD included already but didn't have MCU2. So I still had to pay $2k out of pocket to get...

2018 MCU upgrade 2.5>3, what does it enable?

Say what?! Holy *sugar*, just confirmed and bought it. Thanks this is huge
  14. B

    model x 2017 FSD upgrade

correct. getting fsd will not upgrade your MCU without paying. Just curious tho, what FSD upgrade costs $2k? From EAP to FSD is $6k. The MCu1 to MCU2 upgrade costs $2k so I'm wondering if you're perhaps misunderstanding?

    AC Compressor theory of operation?

It was a compressor failure and we did do a flush. Well the ac seems to still be working well now so I guess I’ll just take it for what it’s worth. I’m going to be doing this again in my other MX preemptively before it’s compressor goes out to save myself the trouble of a flush and condenser...
