The Nag makes driving on Autopilot almost impossible for me...

I am very strongly considering getting one of those devices that disables the nag in the autopilot because I can no longer use it reliably since it was updated to be so frequent. I am a long time Autopilot user. We did an over 5000 mile road trip in our 2015 Model S, I did most of the driving...

Tesla says it can't be done: But it can: new higher resolution rear camera

Has anyone tried to get a baby (backseat) camera working with a switch to the rear camera? My wife bought one of these: Amazon.com: Yada BT50424F-1 Tiny Traveler Baby Monitor for the Car: Automotive but its so ugly and poor resolution. Do you know if anyone has tried to wire up an interior...

If you fast charge, Tesla will permanently throttle charging

I believe there is a very simple software solution which would satisfy me and I suspect most others. I am going on the assumption that the Tesla software monitors either how much and what type of charging is done in order to estimate changes to battery chemistry, or has some way to directly...

Upgrade 90D to 100D and lose free supercharging and ventilated seats?

We decided to upgrade to the 100D, losing unlimited supercharging and perforated seats.

Upgrade 90D to 100D and lose free supercharging and ventilated seats?

We are in a similar situation to other posters, with the further complication that any change will result in us losing ventilated seats (which are no longer offered, I was told due to durability issues). So our choices are: (1) keep 90D order, with ventilated seats and free supercharging. We...

Urgent: X90D to X100D order change problem, help needed.

We are in the same situation, with the further complication that any change will result in us losing ventilated seats (which are no longer offered, I was told due to durability issues). I moved most of my post to a new thread.

Our surprising (to us) decision to go with 6 seats instead of 7...

I agree. I would even encourage seeing as many different Model Xs as you can manage. I have seen several Xs now, and the seats behaved a bit differently in each of them: (1) The showroom 7 seater 2nd row left side seat would not go all the way back (an engineer came out to work on it while we...

    Glossy seat backs + kids

Do you think you could 'sand' them to give them a matte look which would make scuffs much harder to detect?

Our surprising (to us) decision to go with 6 seats instead of 7...

No, this would not be almost as good. The center seat does not move forward and backward, it only tilts (and not by much). We tried exactly this and were unable to tilt it enough to make a noticeable difference for folks in the 3rd row. (Now, the seats seemed a bit buggy, so its possible that it...
