Vendor Group Buy: So.Cal/West Side: Tint/PPF/Ceramic via Concours Auto Spa (Group 4)

Wow. Thx a lot Doug. Will call you and will set up sometime after the new year to stop by. Such a long delay for a simple part from Tesla is really concerning though! I am glad it was not an essential/critical part but I am scared what would happen if I ever need a critical part from Tesla in...

    Autopilot Shortcomings and Limitations

Hi Folks -- I have had my Model 3 for a bit over a month so far. I don't regret my decision to pay extra for EAP as I do enjoy it overall. I have a long commute from OC to LA and I do feel less tired when I have Autopilot engaged for most, if not all, of my time on the freeway. That being said...

This clip shows how it can be done, and also highlights why you should be careful to not let the door close until the window is back down, or else the edge of the window could hit and scratch the chrome trim (on the top side for the back window, and the lower front side for the front window):

Hi @dougatconcours , Meeting you would be great indeed... But does this mean that you will be at the MDR location, or should I instead bring the car to your Torrance location for my follow-up appointment next Monday morning? Torrance location would certainly be more convenient for me given my...

    Child proofing your Model 3?

The first two are exactly what I have, and so far, so good. I haven't bought the seat belt extender but I may get a pair. Technically don't need it with our booster seat and car seat. But having one should certainly make buckling/unbuckling a bit more convenient.

Need Electrician recommendations in Orange County, CA

I suppose it would be this one: Clean Fuel Rewards Program | SCE Clean Fuel Rewards Program I have not applied yet, but I did get the city permit for our installation, and of course, Steve is a C-10 licensed electrician as required for the rebate.

Thank you for the response, though a bit late as I already had Steve's guys install our charger :) We didn't need subpanel but they had to add a 50A breaker and take the cable all the way from the main panel outside to inside the opposite wall on the other side of a 3-car garage. They showed...

Tire Wear and Costs - AWD V. RWD

For me, paying $4K to get a whole additional motor didn't seem too much :) Better handling in different road conditions (probably not a big deal in most of CA though) and the additional reliability given the two separate motors made it worth losing a tiny bit of range, IMHO.

Hi @dougatconcours FYI, dropped off my M3 with Brett at your MDR location. First off, thanks a lot to Brett for accommodating my schedule and for taking my car so early in the morning. As discussed, will do the full front+rocker panels+luggage strip PPF as well as Crystal Serum Ultra coating...

I have set up my appt at their MDR location. The invoice Doug emailed me shows "Lifetime Warranty" on the Suntek CIR Tint that they use.

And were you happy with their work? I got a quote from him. He seems like a very nice, knowledgeable, and honest person with fair prices. But he is not currently among those recommended by Tesla. Also looks like he has guys working for him and he won’t do the job himself. I have narrowed down...

Razor Lip or similar products for Tesla 3 front bumper?

Looking fwd to our 3 delivery this weekend (LR AWD)... I am wondering if anyone out here has ever used Razor Lip (Razor Lip Front Bumper Styling Strip - RimBladesUSA) or similar products under the front bumper of their Tesla 3? I feel it could give slightly more protection underneath the...
