I have seen in to the future too, and Tesla has announced that they will have battery swapping, and power the SuperCharger grid from all of the back pedalling from this thread :)

When I checked it didn't appear that Tesla had filed any of its published patents in any countries other than the US. For those patents at least the time limit for extending patent protection abroad has expired.

Could be unveiling the European version of the Model S. The first deliveries are supposed to be in July and they take about five weeks by ship, so they may be just starting to come off the line about that time.

The rampant speculation may have changed the order of the announcements. But I'm just speculating....

The percentage slider will help insulate against "Brodering". It´s one thing to say that "I charged the car to full, but no one told me to use range mode instead of standard mode", and quite another to not understand what a % of charge means.
