As soon as I dropped my tow hitch I got matched about 15 min later.

Just got my delivery text - stealth performance (20" inductions, blue, black) scheduled for 7/18.

I'd assume they are still producing the stealth. My VIN is on it's way to Seattle, having been produced last week. I did have to drop the hitch to get that VIN in the line, but once I did the SC matched me to a VIN fairly quickly. I ordered 7/5. My guess - they will build the remaining...

Nope. I asked and was told there were 2 options: Change to PUP and get the new pricing Keep as-is and enjoy a stealth

Ordered: 5 Jul Dropped hitch: 12 Jul VIN Assigned: 12 Jul Y Performance, blue, black, non-PUP, 20" inductions, hitch (originally, then dropped to get a VIN)

I was also told I'd get the credit and then got another text later "hold up..." :(

If it helps, when I stuck w/ the stealth, I got a VIN very quickly (had to drop the hitch and order it apart.)

I ordered a stealth with a hitch and was told it would be ~5 weeks. When I agreed to drop the hitch from my build, I was immediately matched to a VIN. It sounds like the hitch component is a constraint in the build process.

Two SCs, using a referral, also trading in a Tesla. I was also willing to “pay” for not changing my stealth order to a PUP so that might have helped. I ordered in July so I’m paying more for FSD.

I ordered in July (stealth) and nagged them into a VIN for delivery next week. Car was made about a week ago.

Im trading in a M3. I’m pretty sure it will lose $200 if I wait another few weeks anyway.

I’d see if you can get them to tell you the build date. The VINs are somewhat random. Last year my May M3D had a very low vin but had been built the week before.

They took $1k off for the hitch in the MVPA. I have to order a hitch from the store for $1200 and have it installed in several weeks. Normally I’d say no, but I have a trade in and just want to get it done before the valuation changes.
