    Has anyone tried DIY PPF?

I DIY PPF'd my entire Model 3 and I think it took about 4 days about 6 hours a day. It was over a 2 week period. It was my very first time and I used pre-cut film. The front bumper is by far the most complicated part. Rear hatch was pre-cut two piece so it was pretty easy. If you are...

    Tire Size Fitment

Ok sounds like +35 on 9.5 wide wheels and 265s won't cause the front wheels to poke out. Will give it a shot!

    Tire Size Fitment

Hello all, I have a Model Y LR and will be getting new wheels soon. The size is 20x9.5 +35. I'm wanting more sidewall protection and would like to move up to 265/40/20 size tires (not sure which brand and model yet). Was hoping to get some confirmation that this size fits and most important...

    Day 2 with my MYP- Titan 7 TS-5 20x9.5 +35mm

+35 on a 9.5 looks pretty good on a Performance. I'm wondering for a dual motor non-performance to achieve this look, it would need to be +40 on a 9.5, correct?

Vendor Official Signature Wheel Gallery and Fitment Q&A Thread

Are there any concerns dropping from stock 9.5 to 9 for a square setup on a Model Y? I'm looking for an offset in 9" that would work best (and interchangeable) for a Y and 3, both non-performance. Thanks.

Plastic ABS center console with fiber pattern vs Real Carbon Fiber

In my view it's worth the added cost. The carbon fiber look just doesn't look right and it's a clear imitation. Real carbon fiber has depth especially if you go with the glossy version. Worth the added cost in my opinion. I have the dash and center console in glossy carbon fiber.

Front Bumper PPF DIY - with or without sensor cutouts?

Do it without. Not having the cutouts do not impact the sensors and it's actually a much cleaner look.

Best aftermarket dash strip to replace OEM wood (with pics...hopefully)

In my view the best replacement for the dash strip is the RPM Tesla carbon fiber dash replacement, not the cap. It is a perfect fit since you swap out the dash piece, so no issues with exposed wood/white like with a cap. The piece really does look premium but does come at a premium cost. The...

    DIY Satin Matted PPF questions

There is no doubt DIY PPF is labor intensive, but certainly not impossible. If you are handy enough, it can be done. I purchased precut PPF from Servo PPF (Suntek Ultra) and installed full car coverage myself on a Model 3 without any prior experience, just a ton of YouTube video tutorials...

EV Mud Flaps for the Model Y

Looks good, but pretty expensive for what it is. The molded, OEM look, Model 3 mud flaps are around $30. I like that style more and will likely wait until one comes out. It's nice against the black trim!

Cheap DIY Paint Protection Film Project

I purchased my PPF from ServoPPF and they have been excellent. Suntek Ultra. So great I ordered full vehicle coverage for a Model Y. Hope to tackle this in the next few weeks.

What coverage do you get via Tesla Insurance?

From what I see, if you login to your account on the Tesla website and select purchase insurance, there will be a page that has the quote. There's an area near the bottom left where it shows a picture of your car and a link on the right that says "Edit Coverage". Clicking on the link takes you...

    Chrome Add

I purchased chrome look vinyl and will be wrapping the black trim. Some parts of the black trim is pretty easy to wrap, and I actually plan on removing the trim pieces for a cleaner looking wrap. There are some YouTube videos out there that helps explain how to remove the trim (I'll find them...

    Chrome Add

On dark color cars I like the contrast. For some reason the chrome delete looks better on the 3 than the Y for me. I'll be attempting to "chrome add" the trim for a Black Y for a nice contrast. I was a fan of the all black look, 10 years ago. Now I think some chrome on a car this size adds...
